About Resilient Collective
What is Resilient Collective?
Resilient Collective is a community and platform for independent consultants in biotech. We connect experienced professionals with companies needing scientific, technical, and business expertise while fostering collaboration, networking, and shared opportunities.
Who can join Resilient Collective?
We welcome independent consultants with experience in biotech, life sciences, or related industries, covering areas such as R&D, CMC, regulatory affairs, business development, legal, and operations. Whether you are a seasoned consultant or transitioning into consulting, RC provides a platform to connect with opportunities and peers. NB. To maintain the integrity of the Collective, you must not be employed by a consulting company or have employees of their own.
How is Resilient Collective different from a consulting firm or agency?
Unlike traditional consultancies or recruiters, RC is a peer-driven community. There are no placement fees or intermediaries. Clients engage directly with consultants. Our members retain their independence and branding while benefiting from increased visibility, referrals, and shared resources.
Membership & Joining
How do I join Resilient Collective?
To join, you must complete an application process, which includes submitting your details, areas of expertise, and professional background. After submitting your application, you will be invited to a group intro session (video call), where you can meet current members, learn more about how RC works, and ask any questions. Approved members then gain access to the members-only portal, where they can create a profile, engage in the WhatsApp community, and access shared resources.
Is there a membership fee?
No, membership is free. We do not charge consultants to be part of the Collective.
Can I still have my own consulting brand while being part of RC?
Yes! RC is designed to enhance your existing consulting practice, not replace it. You can maintain your own branding while benefiting from RC ’s visibility, network, and platform.
Can I be employed and still be part of RC?
RC is for independent consultants. If you are employed full-time and not actively offering consulting services, you would not be eligible to join. However, if you are employed but also doing independent consulting, you may still be considered.
What is expected of me as a member?
As an active member, you are expected to: Create a profile on the website so clients can find you. Engage in the community (e.g., WhatsApp groups, networking, events). Support fellow members through knowledge-sharing and referrals. Keep your information updated so potential clients can reach you.
What happens if I join but later decide it’s not for me?
You can leave at any time. Just let us know, and we will remove you from the platform and communication channels.
Opportunities & Client Engagement
How do clients find me through RC?
Clients can search the website using the filtering system or reach out through referrals within the community. You may also be contacted directly if your expertise aligns with a project.
Am I guaranteed client projects if I join?
No. RC provides visibility and networking opportunities, but securing work depends on your expertise, profile, and client demand. Proactively engaging in the community and networking will increase your chances of landing projects.
How do I set my rates and contract terms?
You negotiate your own rates, terms, and agreements directly with clients. RC does not act as an intermediary in these engagements.
Can I take on both short-term projects and long-term roles through RC?
Yes. Our consultants engage in a variety of work, including short-term projects, fractional roles, NED positions, and advisory board roles.
Do I need specific insurance to be a consultant?
It depends on your services and location. Many independent consultants choose to have professional indemnity insurance, especially if providing strategic or regulatory advice. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate coverage.
How does RC support members in finding work?
Increased visibility through the website and LinkedIn presence. Access to referrals and word-of-mouth opportunities from other members. A WhatsApp community where members share leads, collaborations, and support. A LinkedIn engagement pod to boost online presence and attract clients. Strategic partnerships with venture builders, CROS/CDMOS, recruitment agencies, and incubators/accelerators to bring in more work for the Collective.
Can I refer potential clients to RC?
Absolutely! If you come across a company needing expertise beyond your own, referring them to RC strengthens the network and increases opportunities for all members.

Join the WhatsApp Community and participate in relevant subchannels. Attend masterclasses, networking events, and social meetups. Support and engage with fellow members’ LinkedIn content. Share opportunities, insights, and referrals within the group.
