Nia Emami

Founder

With over a decade of experience in cell therapy, biotech, and leadership, Nia has spent his career at the intersection of scientific innovation and business strategy. As a scientist-turned-entrepreneur he has led pioneering work in cell therapies, leading in both academic and industry settings.

Most recently, Nia was Co-Founder, CEO, and CSO of Bastion Therapeutics, where he spearheaded the development of CAR Treg therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

His experience spans roles at Quell Therapeutics, Gadeta, and King’s College London, where he contributed to groundbreaking advancements in cell therapy and immunology.

“I founded Resilient Collective because I’ve seen firsthand how access to the right expertise at the right time can make or break a biotech company.

By bringing independent consultants together under a trusted brand, we’re solving problems and shaping the future of biotech.”

Beyond leadership roles in biotech, Nia also founded his own consulting company, Resilient Consulting, where he worked independently with biotech companies to provide strategic and scientific expertise.

Through consulting, he saw firsthand the challenges both consultants and companies faced. Consultants struggling with visibility and credibility to companies finding it difficult to source the right expertise when they needed it most.

The biggest gap? There was no dedicated platform for clients to easily search for and connect with biotech consultants.

That’s why he founded Resilient Collective. A platform and community that brings together independent consultants under one trusted brand, making it easier for companies to find the expertise they need, when they need it.

Alongside leading Resilient Collective, Nia is currently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at NLC Health Ventures, a world-leading healthtech venture builder and early-stage investor.

At NLC, he plays a key role as a serial entrepreneur, focused on launching and scaling biotech ventures that bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world healthcare solutions.

This experience further reinforces his mission of helping biotech companies access the expertise they need to succeed. Whether through venture-building or through the Resilient Collective network.
