One of the Collective's founding experts steps up to lead the communications practice
LONDON, 05.03.2026 — Resilient Collective is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Courme as Vice President of Communications. Caroline is one of the Collective's founding experts and brings more than 18 years of hands-on experience in corporate and scientific communications across the European biotech and pharmaceutical world.
In her new role, Caroline will lead Resilient Collective's communications consultants. She will animate a group of independent experts supporting biotech and pharmaceutical clients across scientific, medical, and corporate communications.
"Caroline was a natural fit for this role, and honestly, working with her has been a joy. Since day one she has shown up with ideas, energy, and a genuine commitment to what we are building. She has made Resilient Collective better just by being part of it. As we continue to grow our place in the biotech innovation ecosystem, I could not be more pleased to see her step into this role." — Nia Emami, Founder & CEO, Resilient Collective

“Nia truly created the network that was missing: the first community entirely dedicated to biotech consultants. While other professional or local networks exist, being a communication consultant in biotech is fundamentally different from consulting in other fields. Because we share the same challenges, such as the scientific complexity and tight regulations, we can genuinely learn from and support one another. Together, we have highly specific conversations that simply aren’t possible in broader networks.” — Caroline Courme, Vice President of Communications, Resilient Collective
Caroline is exactly the kind of expert that Resilient Collective was built for. She has spent her career doing the work, not advising from the sidelines. Her background spans both the science and the strategy, which is a combination that is genuinely rare.
Before becoming an independent consultant, she spent five years as European Corporate and Scientific Communications Director at Sangamo Therapeutics. There, she led global publication planning, helped scientists prepare for major cell and gene therapy conferences, and developed patient-facing materials for two international clinical studies. It is the kind of role that demands equal parts scientific literacy and human empathy.
Earlier in her career, Caroline held Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations roles at TxCell and Communication Manager at Nicox. She has managed communications through financing rounds, M&A transactions, and clinical and regulatory milestones.
Caroline holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Paris Descartes. She is based on the French Riviera, where she juggles life as a mother of two and an amateur theatre actress.
